Statement

Art, for me, is an absolute commitment. After twenty years of corporate experience in executive management as a Telecommunications Engineer with an MBA, I decided to leave the business world to devote myself entirely to painting.

My work is a search for inner balance, rooted in the ideas of calm, silence, and distance. Coming from a classical music and piano background, I understand the canvas as a space for visual composition, where colour and form interact like sounds and intervals.

My latest series, Background, represents a major evolution in this journey. It emerged from accidental colour experiments in the studio and explores the tension between light and depth. Through precise geometric structures, the works investigate the resonance between coloured lines and subtly modulated dark backgrounds, creating a visual polyphony in which the background is no longer passive, but acquires a voice of its own.

This body of work develops along two complementary structural directions: Melody, which explores the minimalist essence of individual visual lines, and Symphony, where these lines come together in more complex, layered compositions.

These works do not seek a transient visual impact. They are conceived as internal, meditative landscapes to be explored without haste — an invitation to listen to the silence, look beyond the surface, and allow an inner space to emerge.
